The economy is in a downward spiral, unemployment is moving towards 10%. Many people, strapped for cash are looking around for ways to make extra money.

You can certainly make money on the Internet, but where to start? Most ways of making money demand a certain amount of skills and training. There is a learning curve involved, long study and substantial cash investment. There are exceptions, however…

One of the ways to make extra money that requires few skills and little investment is to get paid for your opinion by taking online surveys that pay.

Here’s the way that works. Large companies must have feedback from consumers to plan new products and improve existing ones. They also need that type of feedback to measure the effectiveness of their advertising.

Consumer spending makes up 2/3 of the economies of developed countries. Almost all big companies have very little or no contact with the ultimate consumers of their products and services. Everything gets sold through retail outlets, distant from the manufacturers.

The large companies hire market researchers to measure public opinion and tell them what people think. The market researchers use online surveys as the fastest, cheapest way to sample opinions.

Surveys are a very big business on the Net. Thousands of surveys are being made each and every week. So how do they get people to take the time to fill out those surveys? They pay them. Surveys pay from $5 to $150 each. Most are in the $10 to $25 range. Not a lot of money per survey, but they don’t take much time and they add up quickly.

How much money can you make? That depends on your diligence and your demographics. Most survey takers report incomes of $200 to $600 a month. Many report $1,000 a month or more. It would certainly be worth your while to click on a link here and get more details about making extra money taking paid-for surveys.

There are lots of ways to make money on the Internet. Paid surveys are one of the easiest. Tens of thousands of other people are already doing it. Why not you?

How to Identify a 100 Percent Pure Honey

There are three tests to identify a pure honey namely through: dissolving test, burning test and stain removal test. Aside from the tests, there are few things to consider when identifying a genuine honey such as: the presence of ants, texture, density, acidity, flavor and aroma, and the cost.

It is difficult to distinguish pure honey from diluted or fake one by simply looking at the appearance. There are three tests to determine the pureness of honey, which are as follows:

Dissolving test

Get a glass of water and pour some amount of honey and observe. It is considered diluted if it completely dissolves in water, but if it settles at the bottom of the glass as a solid lump, then it is genuine and pure.

Burning test

Gather all needed materials for the test namely honey, lighter, candle and matchstick. Dip the candle wick into the honey while, removing the excess. Light the candle using a matchstick and observe the effect. If the wick starts to burn, then the honey is pure. The opposite happens if the honey is not genuine.

Stain removal test

Another way of identifying pure from a fake honey is through stain removal. Pour a small amount of honey on a cloth and wash after a few minutes. If the stain persists after washing then it is not pure.

Aside from the three tests, here are some tips on how to figure out fake from genuine honey:

Presence of ants

Watch for ants near the vicinity where honey is located. Ants do not go near pure honey unlike the fake one, which contains high amount of sugar.

Texture

Pure honey is coarse and thick in texture compared to the fake one, which is more fluid and clear.

Density

Pure honey is denser than the fake one containing a mixture of water. Therefore, it does not go through the fabric easily once spilled.

Acidity

The pH level of a pure honey is higher compared to the diluted honey. This acidity prevents the growth of bacteria; therefore, allows preservation of honey.

Flavor and aroma

One way of distinguishing a genuine from a fake honey is through its taste and smell. A genuine honey has a more distinct taste and aroma over the fake one, which contains more artificial sweetener.

Cost

Since pure honey is rare due to the limited production by the giant bees, it costs a lot higher than the fake or diluted honey.

AC/DC Clamp Meters & Clamp On Multimeters

There are many ways and methods to measure electrical current.  One method most commonly used is running current through a known resistor. Voltage drop over this resistor is determined by the current and the resistor value. Many clamp-on multimeters and clamp-on current measuring adapters that can measure AC current are built in this way.

Some clamp-on multimeters can also measure DC currents. But instead of trying to describe how they work believe me they do and if you want a fast reading on how much amperage is flowing through one of your vehicle’s components then this is a perfect match for a fast look. Gone are the days when you hook this wire here and that wire there and then all of a sudden there was a crackling sound with smoke coming up and you had a burned up multimeter.

Of course with traditional clamp-on current meters, measurements can only be made on single conductors. If you need to measure current in multipair cables this usually needs covers to be moved to gain access to individual wires. But now there are some new special clamp on multimeters that can measure current in multi-core cables and power cords without the need to split them.

A low cost AC/DC clamp meter will usually do most of the simple light duty jobs that you may encounter in your repair work but, of course, if you are a professional then you need the best and latest technology available. There are many clamp on meters to choose from so do yourself a favor and decide what is best for your needs.
